The purpose of this website is to provide interactive business information and services to Aboriginal entrepreneurs in BC. This site contains a searchable database of Aboriginal entrepreneurs in BC. Aboriginal Canada Portal

This very easy to use gateway website links you to all things Aboriginal in Canada and beyond, from conferences and news headlines to business services, training, education, and national issues. 

Aboriginal International Business Development (AIBD)

The AIBD is an interdepartmental Committee made up of 21 federal government departments and agencies who are working collectively to promote the success of Aboriginal small to medium size enterprises in export markets. The AIBD is co-chaired by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (Aboriginal Business Canada).

New Relationship Trust

In the Spring of 2005, leaders from the First Nations Summit, the BC Assembly of First Nations, the Union of BC Indian Chiefs and the Province of BC jointly agreed to a new relationship, one “based on respect, recognition, and accommodations of aboriginal title and rights.” One year later, the New Relationship Trust Corporation was created to help realize this joint vision by providing financial support to First Nation communities, organizations and individuals in BC.
